Frequently Asked Questions

Head to the home page and click Sign Up now. Create an account and click the 'Create my first game' button. Your game board will appear. Start by typing in your titles and categories, and then click on a square to open up the editor for a question. Fill in each of them one by one, and then you're done!

Log into your account and click 'edit' underneath your game. You can make changes to your game at any time and they will save immediately!

A maximum of Hundred teams can play in a game.
You can have up to six categories in your game. If you would like to have fewer than six categories, simply leave the unwanted categories blank. They will be disabled in gameplay mode.
With a custom url (e.x. playfactile.com/chemlab23), you can share your URL with anyone in the world. Don't worry, they won't be able to edit without signing in! Click on the 'share' button in your account to generate the link.

Yes! You can search through any completed game in our database.
Factile is totally free for your first 3 games. After that, you must upgrade to the Pro version. Pro provides the engaging “Buzzer Mode”, Choice, Memory, advanced editing, image and video uploads, math equations and much more! Learn more about the features available for the free account and the Pro account here. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions about going Pro.

When a team gets an answer incorrect, simply press the ‘x' under the corresponding mascot. The points will be deducted, and the other teams will have the chance to answer. When a team gets a question correct, simply press the ‘check mark' under the corresponding team mascot. The game will automatically award the points and then display the correct answer. The game will not proceed unless all the teams get the answer wrong, or one team gets the answer correct. To skip a question and not score it, click on ‘skip/see answer’ on the top right of the question tile.

Click 'forgot your password?' on the login page and a link will be sent to your email to reset your password.

You can start a game and save your progress for later. The game will start right where you left off.

Final Factile appears once all of the standard questions have been answered. Teams are given the opportunity to wager some or all of their points. If a team answers a question correctly, they will gain all of the points that they wager. If a team answers a question incorrectly, they will lose the points that they wagered. You must enter a wager amount less than or equal to the amount of points that the team has. Finally, if your team has negative points, you must enter 0 for the wager amount or else the game will not continue.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Simply go to the Account menu and select “Cancel Subscription”. If you have any questions regarding your subscription or would like help canceling your subscription, you can email [email protected] . We respond within 24 hours.

No worries, you can email [email protected] with your name and your email address you used with Factile (if you remember it). We will help you find your account and cancel the subscription. We respond within 24 hours.
If you cancel your Pro subscription, your account will convert to a free account and all of your games will continue to be available in the free account. The games are not deleted. If you upgrade again to Pro, you will once again have access to all the fun Pro features!
